RAGBRAI

Every year a big thing in Iowa is RAGBRAI - Register's Annual Great Bike Ride Across Iowa. It''s also a big deal to see what city they are going to pick to have it in. This year it's in Council Bluffs. There's so much stuff to do around where they will start the ride - by the pedestrian bridge that was built between Omaha and Council Bluffs the crosses the Missouri River.

I am in no way prepared ride 50+ miles a day for 7 days straight. I suppose I could get there but I doubt it will happen. But Chris brought up that a friend from my old job wants to ride the first leg of ride. Just to tag along and have a good time. Here's the deal though - that's 52.6 miles, total feet to climb = 3,684.

All I can picture is 52 miles of hills.

Hmmmmmmm...gonna have to think on that one a little bit.
